Dear Tab Family,

Now that Governor DeSantis has placed Florida into Phase 1,  we will resume our worship services this Sunday at 10:15.  I have personally talked with state and county representatives to ensure we are not violating any of the guidelines, and if we practice social distancing, we are permitted to gather for worship.  We will NOT be meeting for Sunday School until further notice.

For those who still do not feel comfortable or safe attending, we understand.  If you choose not to attend at this time, our worship services will be available for your viewing on Sundays at 5:00 p.m. With our winter guests gone, and knowing not everyone will return immediately, we feel the size of our sanctuary will allow us to meet the Social Distancing guidelines.

Guidelines we will adhere to:

  1. There will be no Greeters.

  2. All doors will be propped open so you will not need to touch handles (except restrooms).

  3. There will be no offering bags passed, but baskets for tithes and offering will be in the foyer.

  4. If you are sick, even with a mild cold, please do not attend.

  5. We will not be shaking hands, or do any hugging!

  6. We are asking that you sit six feet apart (unless with spouse or family).

  7. Stagger your seating by sitting in every other pew to assist with social distancing.

  8. We will not have any prayer partners.

  9. If you have a family member in your home that has a compromised immune system or illness, it is prudent to watch the service from online and not attend.

  10. There will be hand sanitizer on all counters in the foyer.

  11. We will not be handing out any bulletins, so please bring a pen and paper if you want to make notes of the sermon.  We will still provide the outlines with my Monday and Friday Constant Contact.

  12. Face masks will be optional; your decision.

  13. There will not be a nursery or children's church provided at this time. FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE (NOT MANDATORY) WE WILL RESERVE THE PEWS IN THE BACK OF THE SANCTUARY FOR FAMILIES WITH SMALL CHILDREN IN CASE THEY NEED TO STEP OUT OF THE SERVICE.  OUR MOTHERS NURSING ROOM WILL BE OPEN.

  14. There will be age appropriate packets provided for children which include activities and snacks.

We feel these guidelines will assist in resuming our worship services and ensuring the safety concerns of our congregation and those in attendance.  Again, if you do not feel comfortable or safe in attending we totally understand.  You come back when YOU feel it is safe and appropriate.

I know these are difficult times.  Pam and I have missed seeing all of you dearly. I look forward to seeing you sitting in our sanctuary, worshiping together once again.  We realize this will be a gradual process but hopefully within a few months, we will all be  together again!

Pursuing Him,

Pastor Dwain

PS: Our Wednesday services will resume May 13th with the same guidelines in place.
