A Note From Pastor Dwain
Lead Pastor of The Tabernacle Church
Lessons from a Virus
Dear Tab Family,
This Sunday, we will engage in church as never before. Due to the coronavirus, we are prevented from gathering, but we can have church in our homes. Remember, the church is not a building, but those who belong to the family of God. Sunday's message is titled, "Lessons From A Virus."
Our broadcast will begin at 10:15, but a countdown will available to view at 10:05. Though we are separated geographically due to the virus, we can worship in unison as a church body if we all connect to our website for the service at the same time. I hope all of you will participate, and we can have an amazing worship experience!
Schedule and instructions
10:00-Connect to our website (www.mytab.church) . Click the Watch Live tab on the top right of the website; this will lead you to the online worship gathering.
10:05-Pre-service broadcast begins.
10:15-I will welcome you as our worship service begins.
If you missed last Sunday's message, "Eliminating Fear" it is available on our website, and I would encourage you to listen to it before Sunday. As I have shared in previous emails, God is in control and we will come through this crisis. We need to walk in faith and not fear. We are all safe in the hands of the Lord Jesus, and in the Father's hand.
Jesus said: "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand.I and the Father are one" (John 10:27-30).
We are safe in the hands of Jesus and our heavenly Father! Let's not allow fear to overwhelm us. Let's place our trust and faith in the One who reigns the heavens and the earth!
I know that Sunday will be a new experience, but I am thankful for the technology that will allow us to stay connected and worship together as a church family. Remember, connect early so you will not miss any part of the service. When the ten-minute count down ends (you will see the countdown happening on your computer screen), the service will begin!
Pam and I love you and are praying for you, and we know that in God's timing, we will once again be worshiping in our sanctuary. May the Lord bless you and your family with His presence, wellness, and His provision!
